I take it that you didn't buy the kit yet? I believe the SHOGUN kit is fiberglass. Prepare to do a lot of prep. No fiberglass kit that I've seen is truly 'ready to paint'

Have you done body work before? If not, you'll learn. Make sure you have a power drill and lots of different grit sandpaper. Get a bunch of 3M tape, screws (both nylon and metal) Get lots of primer, (some prefer Bulldog Adhesive --- also known as BondAID nowadays at PepBoyz) Get fiberglass and spot/glaze butty. It's also handy to have a jigsaw, sometimes you get your bumpers w/ strange extra parts that's not supposed to be there!

It's not hard, it's just time consuming and the process will test your patience. I always get through my body works w/ some beer and loud music. I actually wrote up a how to on board.hondasociety.com but they are currently down. But do a search on that site, and I have pics as well.

Make sure you pay the extra $100 to get it from a reputable dealer. There are many shady people in this business, almost as bad as buying illegal stuff!
