Yay, Great news for me

as some of you may know i've been having trouble with a really annoying resonance in my rear end... i was under the assumption that it was b/c my frame is bent... well it is but thats not the prob... its my drivers side rear wheel bearing... which = really easy fix! woo hoo i'll let ya know how it comes on sat night!! you have no clue how excited i am that this will be fixed

lol yeah, expecially when they go together... both of mine were bad in the EX, I just never got a chance to change them.

Its gonna be Painted CL Type S Grey w/ WW RS kit from 90 Si and JDM CRX front end conversion... Powered by a Turbo'd GSR Motor..... Loot is on the way!!

Well i'm doin the front rite now. I'm guessin u have to do the same to the back as u do to the front. That is ...take the rear control arm off and take it to a shop to have them press the old bearings out and have them press the new ones in Like i said i'm guessing here but it seems thats the only way...

you can't buy just the bearing from the rear, you have to buy the whole hub assembly...

Ok, I've also got an annoying front bearing going out. How much stuff do I have to take apart?
Is it basically the same job as replacing an axle, or less complicated.
Do I HAVE to have a shop press out the old bearing?
I've changed lots of bearings on things like boat trailers, and that's pretty simple.
Do I have to get the whole hub off of the car?

I'm glad I found that out before I got it apart 13 miles away from town. That'd be 26 miles round trip on my bicycle, carrying the front hub with me!

the rear one for the 89 crx? i dunno... my dad called about it... but any way its getting changed tom so i'll live with paying a lil more... and having it done with and not have to go get it pressed

its times like that which make me glad i work at a shop with a big press. damn, thats one of my favorite tools to use. i love pressing bushings and bearings, and bending stuff with it too!
