Another 350Z

Heia guys (and gals )

Started my very first AF progress thread ....

Body of the Z is Met. purple (Tamiya PS-18) and the rims are from a revell Ford F150 truck from the Harley Davidson Aniversary kit...

And now I need help....

I really don't have a clue what the best interior color will be.... Any suggestions????

I hope to finish this car pretty soon, 'cause lots of other kits are waiting...

A light tan or white would work well as an interior against that color, possibly with some color matching inserts.

Do a good job on the interior whatever you decide, though, because it needs to measure up to that lovely bodywork and very stellar stance.

Love the stance - those wheels work really well.

I agree - stick with lighter base colours in the interior, perhaps keeping the upper dashboard panel black. I'd keep it relatively simple - don't go for any garish colours (e.g. yellow)

AWESOME!!!

Those wheels work beautifully with the car. Nice choice!

As to the interior, I'm against a light colour on a paint job so dark. I'd have to say black, possibly with some purple and chrome highlights.

Keep it simple in the interior... it'll make a beautiful, clean build.

Ooh. Nice work. Did you have a chance to grab the revell f-150 harley davidson supercab? I can't believe it's not longer in production...

That really does look good. Both the colour and the wheels, now i want the same wheels or similar one's anyway. Dont think HLJ have anything close to them.

Nice choice of colour. One question tho - you've used Tamiya PS sprays - isn't it for polycarbonate bodies?? The Tamiya catalog advises against using PS sprays on plastic bodies - do you notice any difference?

I really don't have a clue

My g/f saw the can and "ordered" me to buy it and use it for the Z.

I don't think I'm gonna clear it... don't wanna risk to loose the nice metallic look it has now...

Still deciding what to do with the interior... I'm thinking 'bout going for a black 'n purple leather look and chrome/alu inserts in the dash

Tx for the positive comments guys...
