Ferrari F430, Revell 1:24 and G'Day

G'Day

Well i joined up 12 months ago as i got back into modelling as an adult from a long break from my teenage years (back when the net was something you took fishing).

Now I look at all my old builds, which consist of 100% Maranello marvels with nastalga, but a sense of "have to rebuild and do a better job."

So now i thought i would throw in one on the first kits i started in the adult stage of my modeling. Straight out of Box build. Nothing fancy. Just trying to not stuff it up. Learning to come to terms with new methods that i used and must also shell out many thanks to the people here for sharing.

Hope You enjoy, and i look forward to posting some more. Including some of the rescue missions from mistakes long ago.

Cheers,

Neil

Good job. I see why chrome rims are not to popular on the big ones though.

Welcome to AF!

Your right, I took these outside, and it was the first thing i noticed in the light. How reflective they were. Almost blinding. Luckily they don't look so glaring in the display cabinet.

Thanks, i used to do it professionally. I like this type of subject better as Models don't get anywhere near as emotional as brides
