sounds real good. Deep and not loud. Only when the engine is real hot does it make noise all the time. Real good sound. Lets the intake make most the racket. It compliments very nice IMO. I paid $350 for it on ebay, plus $60 shipping. And I paid $50 to have it mounted as I have no pit or such to do it myself. So I paid $460 total and it retails at $509 store value.

Question though: is it supposed to shake? This thing vibrates pretty hard. I'd say at an amplitude of about a half inch. I can feel it in the wheel and through the gas pedal. Is that normal?

peace

CivSiGuy could probably answer your question, as he has the same exhaust. You might want to crawl under there and double check some of the connections. If they didn't use the flexible bushings where the pipes bolt up you'll get a lot of vibration, and could potentially crack some area of the pipes/manifold under heavy acceleration. If it was a reputable shop I imagine they put it together right, but it's probably worth taking a look.

yeah CivicracerX, I thought of that. Thing is, I watched them put it on and they used the bushings. Plus the only thing that shakes is the muffler and tip, the pipes dont shake, I looked. Also they hung it right, I double-checked that. It's weird to me. And it doesn't always do it. Plus the shop is the best in town I couldn't see them messing it up that easy.

Anymore thoughts shoot em!

I was planning on getting this type of exhaust just for those reasons...not too loud but deep enough to sound agressive and decent performance gains. So overall you are satisfied with this exhaust?
