Know of any Teacher Position Openings?

So does anyone know of any openings for a social studies teacher? I'm full-on in my job search. I'm nationally licensed with an acredited degree. Out west would be prefereable.

I know this is far from professional, but it never hurts to check everywhere.

Thanks,
-Wheel

On the other hand, I bet cost of living isn't too high, either.

There are teaching jobs EVERYWHERE, especially down South, but I'm going into Math Ed, so the need is off the charts... I don't really know what the market is like for SS.

I'm sure you could get a job teaching just about anywhere. It probably mostly comes down to where do you want to live?

HEY NOW! Not all social studies teachers are coaches!
(course, I can coah cross country and track)

I've been looking at tons of states dept of Edu websites, and found a few places, I'd really like to go west, get my masters ou there, and then be right in line for a Doctoral Program in education somewhere, regionally educated is a good things these days.

Im good for 20th Century World History, Political Science (any), Sociology, Psychology, and my degree tells me I can teach economics and geography - though I beg to differ.

thanks though yall. good lookin out.

anyone in Denver? or just Colorado? Whats the word out there? or Oregon, two favorite states of mine.

LOL! too true, although most of the coaches at my high school either taught Health or Weight lifting.
