Pics of stuff I got done whilst the forum was down, come take the journey

Alright, well on Wed and Thurs I began work on my custom sub boxes (well my bro is doing it really) and I fitted my kit. here are the pix:

These are the materials, check it!

This is my rear strut bar, oooh, its sooo pretty, gotta luv the Skunk2ness

The engine arena, another strut bar, is that possible? Oh yeah, it is :smoka:

This is my new Aerogear Battle front, fit nearly perfectly, and it doesnt look to bad either.

This is my Aerogear Blitzz side skirt, fit good, just not sure wat to do witht the gap between the side skirt and molding, give me you opinions. Think it will be not noticeable once its all painted?

Close up of the front, makes it look uglier than it is, but its aight.

This pic really shows the front off nicely i think, its a pretty blue, I want it inside me.

This is the beginning of one of the sub boxes, lookin......well its lookin started

The moldin is becoming more.....well molded, behold

My bro threw some sticks in the box, so now you see how they'll sit.

Another pick of sticks, lol, its like pick up sticks

The last pic of my current collection, the molding is nearly whole

Let me know wat you think of everything, cuz opinions are cool!!

FYI - The system I'm gonna be running is 2 sets of Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 Component System and 2 12" Infinity Kappa Perfects powered by an MTX 4244 and an MTX 81000D, respectivley. It'll definitley be the shit once its done, just need to get her finished up sometime in the next couple weeks. Oh yeah, amp rack is being built for the amps/cap in the wheel well, plexiglass over top and some nicely done neon in there somewhere, not sure exactly how it'll be, cuz its all in my bro's head, he's a genious.

i like how everything is turning out, post some more pics when its all done.

as far as the gap goes, try and see if you can mold them into the bullet moulding using some more of that fiberglass.

that's gonna be dope! I'm kind of wondering what the acoustics will be like with the subs angled like that so close to the hatch glass... i bet it will be loud as fuck in the driver's seatwith the way the waves will hit you.

I got the kit off www.nopionline.com , check out www.aerogear.net to see if they got anything for hatches. From wat i understand tho, the kits arent interchangeable from crx to civic.

Thats wat i was talkin to my uncle about doing, but he says that it'll usually crack and shit which will just screw me over in the long run. Anyone know if this is true?

I got my amps today too, well i got one, the other I already have, here's a pic of em (cd is there for size perspective).

Those are looking pretty nice ( the custom sub boxez ) If anyone else is thinkin bout this type stuff, and dont really have any idea how, on ALPINE-USA they have a walk through on how they did the entire interior of the RSX and CIVIC HB. Just go there, then "DEMO CARS" at bottom, then choose "RSX" or CIVIC, then INSTALLATION pics.. i would just give u the exact address, but when u choose dif. page, its alwayz the same addy on top, and i cant figure out any way to.. so there u go, pretty cool stuff. Makes me wanna get a crap car, and practice !

Starting to come together!

IMHO I’d get the sides done, if you don’t have door caps then take the lower mouldings off and fibreglass/bondo or whatever they do at the bodyshop and smooth it out. It will look a lot smoother. Here is a pic to give you an idea….
