Fujimi Mercedes SL500 (R129)
Hi everybody.
It's been 5 years since I had build my last model. I'm back to the hobby with this Fujimi SL500. I'm not pleased with this old Fujimi kit. I will try to make it as good as I can. Fujimi SL500: ![]() Fujimi AMG Wheels: ![]() The car will be Black/Grey with beige or grey interior and black wheels. I will try to post pictures pf the progress with some regularity. Please feel free to comment. Cheers. |

Re: Fujimi Mercedes SL500 (R129)
Good project. I've got a 300sl parked in my stash along with those same wheels.
I've got way too much on my plate or i'd play along.

Re: Fujimi Mercedes SL500 (R129)
It would be a lot easier for you getting back in the hobby if you started with the R129 kit from Tamiya. Anyway, looks good so far...

Re: Fujimi Mercedes SL500 (R129)
Hi Everybody,
All interior parts and the wheels are now ready to paint. ![]() It seams to me that the ride height of the front axle is higher than the rear axle. What do you guys think? ![]() How can I lower the ride height of the rear axle for model that don't have rear suspension? This model has the possibility to me motorized, so doesn't have any suspension detail, only a axle that connects both rear wheels. Can any one help? Cheers. |

Re: Fujimi Mercedes SL500 (R129)
Just drill holes above the ones you already have??? That's the most simple way to lower model cars...
