Thumbs up Track in Houston - PLEASE HELP

I live in Houston Texas and I know how bad the racing is out here. The cops are really cracking down and we need a place to go !!
Sam Houston Raceway park has opened up to us on fridays but the place is just not fun !! I mean it closes down at 11:00 !! We arent even started by that time !!
My question to ya'll is.....If a track was built for Racers ONLY where we can legally race until like 3 in the morning ANY day would ya'll go ??
Say you can pay $15 for UNLIMITED races all night long...would you pay ??
The only way to build such a thing is to have a guarantee that there will be attendance.
So help me out guys and tell me you'll be there !!!
If you dont live in houston TX then let me know where you DO live and if you would attend this sort of track in your hometown if it was built.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

not to burst your bubble, but there are reasons, like noise pollution, neighbors, etc. that are the higher power.

tracks close by 11 to meet local laws in regards to noise ordinances.

it's not just that they don't want to stay open later.

it depends on the laws, not the owners choice...

check with the tracks and find out why they close at 11, and then find a way to work past it.

most tracks charge this much or less.

and who else would race at a track?

FYI

i live in cleveland ohio, an hour or so from 4 drag strips, and about 2 hours from 3 road courses.

most of which close their gates by 11...

Track in houston

Actually......there is a group called racelegal who hold events in California that DO stay open until 3 AM so not to burst YOUR bubble but it IS possible. And about the noise and neighbor laws I DO know about those and as long as you remain a certain distance away from neighborhoods and populated areas than you have the A-OK.
And when I said racers only I mean street racers...not like the tracks for Proffesional Indy 500 crap or anything else.....so far there is not one for street racers ONLY.
So my question is Still if people would attend this.

Track

Well I would like the track to have a natural feel....just like the streets....different tracks...not just 1/4 mile runs....pretty much whatever people like us like. It should be built around our wants.
What would you like it to have ??

you then go on to agree with the noise ordinance issue.
i didn't say it was impossible, but this is the reason for why they close by X time.

and prove my point. if you're away from it, far away, where the noise isn't an issue, it's all good.

it would be hard enough to get just a drag strip, and you want to include a road course as well?

do you know what insurance is like?

not to burst YOUR bubble, but that stuff is really expensive...

like in the thousands for a day at a road course.

it's not as much for drag racing, but the cost is still expensive.

Track in houston

You are completly avoiding the point of this post. ALL I want to know is if people will come.
MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE....no problem at all, neither are any rules for tracks.....its all worked out.
THE ONLY THING I AM ASKING IS...........WILL....YOU....COME... ????

are you blind?

where am i located?

how are all these things worked out exactly?

if it's no issue?

sounds like a BS claim until you back it up with some proof...

how are you making it all happen...

details. facts.

show some, and you'll get some respect.

Track

The way things work in Ohio or WHERE EVER you are from may not work the same down here.
Dont worry about how I have things set up....unless you plan on signing my Confidentialty aggrement with everyone else who knows the details then you will know nothing.
And about respect....I'm not asking for respect in any way...I'm asking for a SIMPLE answer....Not your personal advice on how I should run my things.
P.S. I'm blind in no way, thank you. If you can see so well how come you have yet to answer my ORIGINAL question ???

did i say that ohio has the say so in what happens where you are ?

hell no i didn't.

you're picking a fight you don't want to have.

all i said was, "here's reasons for why tracks close early"

you want to argue about it?

facts suck don't they?

heres the deal.

you say you've got this all taken care of.

sounds like a fairy tale.

how do you have it all set up, i'm curious.

and stop pm'ing me. it's not necessary.

you're impatient. that shows alot.

Man you sure do think you know alot....put your nose in some books every now and again and check out what is POSSIBLE in the world today.
I dont care whether you think this is a fairy tale or not. I never said Hey does anyone believe I can build a track....NO, I said WILL YOU COME ! I guess that is a tough question for you to answer...sorry, How about you stay out of my thread if you dont care about the topic and we can all be happy.
And dont EVER try and tell me Im picking a fight I shouldnt....You started all this crap and I'm just stating the facts here...you have said NO facts.
I ALREADY knew why the tracks close at 11 and I ALREADY said this one will stay open later.
If thats it from you then thank you for entertaining me today.

read your original post.

it was all "what if"

you have not, until now, stated that there is a track open to the hours you want.

if you can get it done, i'm sure people will come.

your story was a fairy tale and idealistic in your post.

this is why i'm asking how you managed to get it pulled off, considering that the thread was started just a day or so ago, and started " what if it was possible, would you come"

this is why i noted reasons why it doesn't happen.

you never said you knew why.
people on the internet aren't psychic.

reread your first post, see where i was coming from, and learn that on the internet, you need to post the relevant knowledge in regards to the topic, so people like me don't fill in the blanks for you.

Sorry if I didnt clarify but its best for my company that we keep the facts to a minimum.
I was hoping everyone could just use a little imagination and say simply yes I will come if it were possible or no I wont.
Now thank you for answering my question about actually coming. I'm glad to hear that.

Just like the streets?

So you're going to build a track that looks just like a street with street lights.. and traffic signals.. and pedestrians? oh yeah throw in traffic as well and the occasional cop as well. And yeah, it'll be just like the streets.

Whats wrong with the basic 1/4 mile track?

LOL...Can't you guys just answer his question?? Honestly, he really didn't ask for analysis or anything, and he made it clear that ALL he wanted to know was...If you live near there will you come if and when the track is built? And if you don't live near there, WOULD you come if such a track was built near you? Simple and easy question and it turned into another sh*tfight for no reason at all

I'm in Virginia, but it sounds like a good idea to me! LONG hours, reasonable price, open everyday, and no "professionals" hogging up the track for days at a time with events and such! YES, I WOULD COME!!!
