That much smoke coming off the frount tyres means somethings wrong. i.e. its not longer a controlled drift, but an out of control skid.

And the car lacks any sense of momvment, prehaps a bit more motion blur around frount?

And take a look at a car coming at you in the dark with its lights on.
The frount of the car around the head lights is actualy VERY hard to see, as its still in darkness, and you are blinded by the lights.

yeah... kill the smoke on the front and lighten the tire marks, and kill the lights and I bet it will look a lot better.

Also narrow the tyre marks.

A tyres contrat patch with the road is normaly only about the size of your hand, quite a small area.
Although obviously a very wide tyre (like on that BMW) will leave a much wider patch, I think you've got it far to wide, and with to undefinded an edge.

Also choice of subject has a lot to do with it.
Having had the pleasure of "spanking" a modified 540i I have to says its not really a car capable of drifting around to many corners. Theres simply to much traction and to much car to throw it around that much. (not saying it cant be done, just thats its not likely )

Um i might be wrong here, but the front tyres dont slide out, so the skid marks will only be on rear wheels. And Moppy, are u from NZ and do u have Possum in ur sig due to his very bad condition?

No, don't kill. Thats violent . I think it looks very good, but i agree with SolGRl about "removing" () the headlights.

I think that you're getting really close man. Looks damn good! Plu, isn't that an M5, and not a puny 540? I'm pretty sure an M5 could drift like a motherfucker! Try "spanking" one of those. Especially a modified one.

Its only got 2 doors, so you would be right and I would be wrong.

Prehaps a 316i with a body kit and wheels?
