High amp alternator?

I have a 1992 Camry v6 and I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get a high output alternator. Please help.

Re: High amp alternator?

Look into getting your alternator re-spun.. or hit the junkyards and find an old camry alternator and have that respun if you want to keep driving your car while its being done.

Re: High amp alternator?

Many of the Camry owners with upgraded stereo systems are using alternators from some of the late model Highlanders. I believe some of them are 120 amps and are a direct bolt on, but I'm not absolutely certain of that, so do some research.
