New project Revell 1/24 BMW M Coupé

This is my new project. I will strip the paint off and repaint it in Sterlinsilver (BMW Orginal). The only good thing about the kit is the car itself.

Good luck with the paintstripping, i tried with owen cleaner. Did not work. The tires are the same.....bredd...all around too, you will need replacements. apart from that, its ok i guess. keep the pictures coming, love to see it in silver (got a metallic blue one):smoker2:

The body is allready in the "strip jar". I use washerfluid (isopropanol alcohol) for strip this body. It´s painted in acrylic paint and the washer fluid works just fine. Yes you´re right about the rims, I will have to wide the rear pair a bit and swap new tires for them.

I have one of those waiting to be stripped and built, but I haven't decided on a colour scheme yet. Black with a purple flip would look good if I could get it to look right. As for wheels I was thinking stock, or Porsche 996 GT3 and it needs lowering.

Only acrylics, which are water based. Enamels work best with CSC, lacquers work best with DOT3.
