Question - What kits have engines?

I have been trying to remember what posts I read that said which kits came with an engine in so that I could put an engine in my RX7 Combat2 when I build it.
Could we not set up something in the FAQs with a list of kits and brands that do have an engine in them.
I remember someone saying that Tamiya had an RX7 kit and in Jonnos thread Fujimi? had a Veilside Skyline that had an engine.
What do you think? I had a look in FAQ and couldn't see anything already.

List of Tamiya kits, with notation for engine detail:
http://www.italianhorses.net/tamiya.htm
(360spider's site)

About RX7 models in particular:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~erix7/erx7modl.html
(erix7's site)

It would really be far too wide in scope for the FAQ, and it's much easier to anwrer on a case-by-case basis. The Search function would be the best tool, both here on AF and across the internet, but unfortunately, ours is on the fritz.

If you are talking about this thread

I used a Tamiya R34 Skyline V-spec II kit, with an engine from an R32 that Antonio sent me.

I think it is the tamiya R32 skyline that has the engine.

jay@af.

i reviewed the list and I gotta say I stand by my original statement. the list is not acurate at all. I would not be very happy purchasing one of these kits thinking there was going to be an engine and then come to find out there isn't one. especially if you are like me and are buying the whole kit just for the engine. Just for you I reviewed the list and picked out the models listed with engines in error.... I'd love to have that HKS skyline engine if it were true, I gotta tell ya. I wasn't trying to offend you, you could have been a little nicer instead of trying to flame me.

I would think the HKS Skyline ought to have an engine, being based on the R32 kit which does come with the RB26DETT, as well as a few of the other R32 race Skylines...

Correct me if I'm wrong though

Apologies if I came off as rude, but I tend to get a thorn in my paw when people make gross generalizations. There's a difference between "some errors" and "not accurate at all."

I've long thought all Tamiya R32 kits came with the engine parts. I've seen several of the Gr. A and Gr. N Skylines built on this board with engines.
