Tamiya putty... wana putt ?

Hi guys. I just got myself a small... and i mean small tamiya regular putty. I searched for any instructions or tips for this putty but i only got 4 threads about everything but putty.

Any one has any instructions on how to use this stuff or any tips ? Do i just squirt some out and use my fingers to mold, shape, hide things ?

Thanks

Regular putty, I guess that's the toothpaste-like stuff in a tube...you use it to fill in imperfections, scratches, join seams, etc. Apply in thin layers, wait until dry, then sand as you want. Not recommended for building body kits with.

If you doing body kit, use Tamiya Epoxy Putty. It come with 2 type, one is smooth type and the other is fast type. Fast type will dry in 6hrs, but in yellowish. As for the smooth type will dry in 12hrs, but in white. one tip, keep your fingers wet always, if not the epoxy putty will stuck on your fingers...
