Do you guys like Altezza lights ?

In general I dislike them, but some cars look good with them. The problem is that everyone has them, so the good looking cars end up looking ricey or something.

But, I saw a navy blue integra with them and it looked GREAT!

Let me walk through my thinking.

Someone customizes or soups-up their car to:[list=1][*]make it how you like it[*]impress others[/list=1]

If it's (1.), then do whatever the hell you want to your car, because if you're doing it because you like it, you won't give a damn what anyone else says about it.

If it's (2.), nobody's going to be impressed when you roll up with the same junk on your car that the last twenty kids have.

Now, if you roll up with no junk on your car, because you chose to spend that money on equipment, like a free-flowing intake or a better exhaust system, that will actually make your car perform better that it looks like it can, now that's impressive. It's called building a sleeper and it seems to be a lost art. It is inherently impressive, because it will literally make others think, "Wow, I didn't expect that!"

Yesterday, I saw a 4th gen Accord not with Altezza taillights, but with Jaguar S-Type taillights. They looked pretty good; something new, yes, but its still copying!!!

well ok, i have only liked the altezza's on one car ( other than what is was supposed to come on) an dit was a 97 silver civic. that is the only one. I HATE THEM other than that. they dont' belong on anything. I can't stand to see people witht hem and i will say someting to them right away. it just kills me to see it. i feel bad for the car. oh well i guess some people just don't feel that way.


oh and one more thing, projector's on a civic, yeah that has to go, if you wanted a teg you should have bought one.

I dont care for the Original ones... but the new ones arent as bad.. I like the carbon fiber and black chrome ones about the best. They look alittle cleaner IMO..

I like Altezzas for every other type of cars except for :

Mitsubishi Eclipse (old one)
Integra
Accord

.... it just doesn't look right if you have a wide rear view lights... but for smaller ones it looks pretty nice.
