Do you guys like Altezza lights ?

I think that it depends on the car and what else your going to put on the car . Well today when i was leaving the beach i saw a little riced out Neon ....some gay little red color close to pink and it had altezza lghts on it and i started laughing my ass off and said why in hell would u do that to a car ? Hell he had plastic little hub caps and the dark outs on the front of his headlights for godshake If your gonna put altezza's on a car do it a decent looking car and make sure it looks good and if you plan on fixing up a car dont do a half ass job ....if you plan on fixing it up go All Out or dont go at all . It just pisses me off to see all these little Pieces of shit with Big ass wings and Jap writing on an american Car . Heres another one i saw a Ford Escort with Type R stickers all F%$@! over it and a big one on the rear windsheild that had some jap writing and the a BIG F^%@ R ........I'm saying to myself what a Fucking idiot hell can u be any gayer ??????? i think not . Oh yeah back to the subjuect about altezzas i like them and stuff its just they dont belong on (FORD RUSTANGS) and (POS NEONS) The people that own these vehicals actually think they look nice but in actuality they are getting laughed at REAL bad . So dont clear out your v-6 rustangs with clear outs and put Jap writing all over an AMERICAN MADE car and Put TYPE R stickers and emblems all over them .... Thank YOU

depending on the color of the car, and what style altezzas... b/c some of em are just shitty in quality...
i like them though...
but you said it. as long as they are on the right kinda car, its all good...
i disagree on the neon trip though... those arent bad cars at all, there are alot of well sorted neons out there, it is just that there r more ricey ones kickin out there. i think that i a properly done neon with altezzas looks good...

but to support you... there is a neon in the new import tuner (?) that has a touring car lookin neon w/ racing seats and all the necessary shit on it that looks ok, and the damn thing is an auto. wtf???
but there are civics out there that exhibit the same shit...

Depends. Sometimes they are nicely done, but often they are stupid looking.

I don't know why people put fake stickers and stuff....think about it...the people they are trying to impress (i.e. the people who know what a Type R is) are the people who know how stupid and ridiculous they are. Idiots.

I'm on an seperate Escort board too, and one of the other guys posted a pic of his 'scort. It's a 3rd gen ('97 to '99) 4 door with mods. It would look great if it wasn't for the offset racing stripe made up of various Japanese symbols, the Escort SE-R logo on the back, and the "Escort Type R" with the big red R on each lower rear door...

Exactly. He spends all his time complaining that nobody respects an Escort, and trying to get people to realize that it's not such a bad car after all just because it's domestic, then goes and put import stickers on it. If like your domestic so much, why make people think you want a Honda or Acura? Come on...

I also think that the Escort doesn't recieve the attention it deserves, it's a small, front drive 4 cylinder just like Civics, and it's really just a Protege, but I don't try to get it some attention from the Honda croud by putting Honda logos on it. That's just stupid, IMO.

I like Altezza taillights on Altezzas, and almost nothing else.

The only exceptions I'll live with aren't even exactly the same, just close. They're the new Lexus GS and RX lights, because, hey, Lexus can use their lights on their own cars all they want.

I say they look dumb on everything else. Just because they're the right shape to fit your 5th gen. Accord or your Neon, doesn't mean you have to have them. And for heaven's sake, if they're not the same shape why would you just want to COPY some other car's style, especially when everybody else is copying the same style.

So many dumb jerks in Civics with Altezza-style lights when the Si lights look so cool already!

I have yet to see an Accord or Neon that tries to compete the masquerade by either building-in or simulating the round inner pair of lights. Now that might look decent and well-done, but it would still be copying.

I'm sick of seeing altezzas! Everyone and their mother has them on their car. Leave them on the car that came with them, IS300 and Altezza. Nothing against them, just that everyone has them. It's out of control.

No, No, NO!!! I don't know about the rest of you guys, but where I'm from, they got Altezza lights on everything. I'm sick of them. It's quite rare for me to see a car where the lights look good on them. I've gotten so sick of them that I gag when I see IS300s! Yech. Those things are so played out.
