Just a bit of sanding and smoothing and this babe will be ready. Can't wait to see it with a coat of colour.

Re: Golf gti wide body project From a new member

Thanks for the reply's

As the body is still in the primer phase, i have begun working on the engine.
ps. I'm very sorry of the blurry pics but my cam is again bugging me .

It is still OOB but i'm now bussy doing the plumbing and making the air intake

I also made a scratchbuild grill and kitbashed the bmw 320I further by using it's rear light
as front light for the golf .The grill needs further cutting as do the lights.
But here is the overall idea.

Re: Golf gti wide body project From a new member

I don't know those rallye lights? (maybe a pic of those lights ?) but the front grill will be the corrado grill.

But as i'm currently on vacation @ Campzone http://en.campzone.nl/ , i do not have any progress until around 2 august.

Greets from campzone

*UPDATE*

After a 2 weeks vacation, a new job and some relaxation time.
I finaly took the golf out of my hobby room and sprayed it .
The results are not that good imo (with some orange peel here and there) but i will be polishing it so that will give some better results i think .

i also chopped the interior to bits cause it will need another transmission housing and the rear seats will be replaced by some subs.
More on this within a few days. Then the engine will also be wired and hopefully the sparco seats will be finished

Comments are welcome.

Nothing there that a little clear and some polishing won't take care of. I like
