Re: Re: Re: Golf gti wide body project From a new member
Thanks for the feedback
okay okay i will not go for the lowrider look , as it indeed does look silly with this bodykit. The wheel wells where mainly dremeled out to get a more accurate look. The benefit of this is that the wheels can go deeper in the body but it was not the original intention for this. But as for the masklip vwman proposed; the hood extension is already there and it does look beter than such a mask lip IMO. I have seen this mask lip to many times on Golf's and Corrado's. It looks good but it is not very original. As for a hood extension however, that you don't see that much cause it is more expensive in real life .Quote:

*******************************update******************************* Finnally the first primer coat is on the golf to see all the imperfections. I have also made the edge running over the middle of the door and thickend the hood lip cause it cracked when i was almost finished with it .Here are the pics, enjoy Greets Erik

For the identical golf; well i am building the exact one as we speak, i am actualy making 4 of them j/k hehe. It is indeed the reflection. The pictures are taken in the kitchen on a induction glass cooking plate, it has a mirror on the wall behind it . Cause i think it is the best indoor place in our home to take pictures. Greets Erik
