a V8 engine is the best option for draggers who want to drag V8s. If you want to import tune, then of coarse an import 4 or 6 would be the best. It is all realitive to what you want to drive. I personally like the american V8s, but I grew up on them (my dad used to drag 67 mustangs that were heavily modded), so that is what I love. True, a heavily modded V8 would destroy a heavily modded 4, but it's like having another engine. It depends on who you drag, and what you like to drag. With todays prices on gas, I am jealous of you import guys paying half of what it cost me, and you still are able to keep up with me. Imports have amazing HP to weight ratio (that is what makes them so damn fast), so hats off to you. However, don't bash american cars, cause everyone knows on the strip we would tear the imports apart. Day to day, however, I would not be surprised to see a honda kick the crap out of an american car. Again, it is all realitive.

Edit: Oh, and by the way, to the guy with the cobra, please show me a cobra that will run 9's w/o heavily modding it (blower doesn't count, it takes hp to make hp with a supercharger). I would love to take a look at your engine and car, and possibly meet you. If it exists
