Just to add: Another reason companies underrate their cars' horsepower ratings is to make higher models look better or to leave room open for quick power boosts in coming years. A good example is the Camaro Z28 and the Corvette C5. The Z28 is rated at 305hp and the Corvette at 350hp. The Z28 actually dyno's at about 305hp to the rear wheels, meaning that it actually makes closer to the 350hp that the Corvette supposedly makes. It just makes the Corvette look better, can't have people paying $50k for a car that performs the same as the $25k Camaro

i looked through the 1LE z28 camaro section, the car as far as his website and he himself has told me is completely stock

Back to the topic, the ferrari 360 modena is a work of art, i would choose that car over any of them. U idiots think an NSX can run with a modena, then ur crazy. And no, a modena does not run high 12's and low 13's it runs low 12's. My friends dad has a 360 spider that runs a 12.3's bones stock on street tires. And on the track its even worse, its one of best balanced cars out there. U say that a 360 modena is a simple motor. It is a 3.5 liter motor making 400 hp and sounds better than any motor ive ever heard, aside from formula 1 cars and an enzo. That motor is mounted to one of the stiffest frame of any production convertible, maybe the stiffest from what i have read. And u think that a 290 hp nsx is better. The nsx is fast because it is light, and i have respect for the way they developed it. It is no doubt a quick car, but is has absolutley no chance against a 400+ turbo and a 400hp modena. I dont even know why u guys are even talking about comaros and z06 vettes. They have 5.7 liter motors barely making 400 hp and cheap interiors. THey are good cars for the money but should not even be mentioned in the same sentece as a porsche and a ferrari, or even the nsx for that matter.

Point 1- the 360 is 3.6 litres- the F355 was 3.5 though

Point 2- the factory claim 12.8- maybe your friends dads car was running on a higher octane fuel than normal or it was a cold day
