Freakray did have a good point about the decals might not match well. Say why don't you order it from either towerhobbies.com or even HLJ. I mentioned towerhobbies because you will get one item faster plus the shipping is cheap. You will pay about 30 cents more for the paint but so what right. The priming is a good idea, too bad I didn't primer mine. Here's a link to the one I finished http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...t=bmw+Williams

Hi,

I'm following your progress with great interest as I'm preparing to build this great kit as well. Just wondering; I also got the suspension set from Acu-Stion but have a hard time figuring out how to use the parts (my Japanese is a bit rusty ); so can anybody help me out??? (here's a link to the instructions: http://www.acustion.com/image25rr.jpg the part about the suspension is on the left halfway down) Thanx and keep up the great work!

Tim

I painted the body white (Ts-26) and sanded it with 4000 grit sandpaper! After that i masked the white areas and painted blue (Ts-51)!! I am very satisfied with the result!!

masked

masking was perfect!!! :-))))))

After the blue was dry, i applied clear coat to get an even underground for the decals!!

I’ve been following the progress tread from the beginning and it’s so nice to see that the Williams is becoming more and more beautiful.
You are doing and exemplar work Thesaint111 and the final result will be a stunning model for sure.
Keep them coming.

Looking very nice saint.
Yeah I can see a few masking mistakes but I'm sure they can be fixed up with a spot of blue paint. Looks like the engine cover is a nice snug fit.

They are fixed! It was no problem only some blue paint and the "mistakes" are away!
