Source (AFP):

"Asked about the discovery by US troops of protective suits and antidotes to chemical weapons in Iraq, Blix replied: "Everyone knows that they were importing atropine ... (but) one would have to wait for more solid information" before drawing any conclusions.

Blix said he believed that even if the Iraqis had proscribed weapons of mass destruction, they would refrain from using them.

"In the first place, the world would say they were liars, and in the second place it would change the attitude of the world about the armed conflict," he said.

"That's a guess, and I may be wrong," he added.

Oh, BTW I have some new info about Iraqi chem weapons. For some strange reason military sources are saying that the threat of an Iraqi chemical or biological threat has become "negligible" now that coalition forces have penetrated Baghdad's outer ring. The generals are now allowing the US forces to remove their protective chemical suits. To me, that seems kind of odd . But, as Hans Blix said, we will have to wait for more solid information before jumping to conclusions.

No, it's not odd: Bush is near his objective of getting Iraq for himself, so all pretense of getting Saddam for WMDs is down. Well, maybe the danger is not there anymore, but it's silly since Bush maintains that Iraq has WMDs around, and they can still use them at American troops...unless there were no WMDs in the first place, and all this reason for war was an excuse to get the oil. We do wonder...

Well,
1. This war is long from over.
2. If WMD do exist it will be a "last resort" for Saddam and his fellow evil followers.
3. Look at the lies they state almost daily about how far we are engaged in Iraq. We've seen the pictures of the Airport in Baghdad yet they deny we are there anyways, which goes to prove that they DO in fact LIE whenever their mouths are open.
4. There is no certainty that Saddam is alive and just maybe someone in charge can keep the reins on the WMD long enough for us to clear Baghdad.
5. It has been stated by the Bush Administration that all procedes from Oil sales will be used for the rebuilding of Iraq for the Iraqi people. France is just pissed because now they loose all their once lucrative contracts.
6. IMO To hell with France, Germany and Russia. We got the job done!

Evil followers? You know, it might just be possible that many, even most Iraqis, think that Saddam Hussein is a hero for standing up to the US...

And so do Fleischer and Brooks, your point is?

Oh, and exactly how much profit do you think there will be from that oil? Do you think the US will buy/sell that oil at the current $26 a barrel, or at a rate more beneficial to the US oil corporations who will be administering the new "democratic government"... Perhaps a rate as low as $2 a barrel? Lots of profit there, at least for Bushes oil cronies.

So.. how 'bout them actors?

I recently heard of Eddie Vedder (musician, not actor sorry) impaling a mask of President Bush on his mic stand at one of Pearl Jam's concerts, and the fans didn't like it. I don't hold any kind of grudge against him for the fact that he is voicing his own opinion, and is actually in the US, not a foreign country (damn dixie tricks). I just think the fans didn't like it because people use entertainment as a medium to sort of escape from reality. I know I'd want to go to a concert to hear the music, not the musicians 20 minute speech on what he believes. I could go look that up on the internet or something.

Eddie also stated a good point, and something that is becoming more and more announced in the radio media lately. This is that you can be pro-troops, and anti-bush.

I disagree with Eddie's views, but support his freedom of speech.

I think what Eddie Vedder did was disrepectful whether you are pro bush or anti bush. I've always though Pearl Jam sucks and I have always seen Eddie Vedder as a lunatic druggie anyways. These stars need to realize when they come to see their shows they're there for the music or what ever not for a show of their political views. Oh well I stil hate Eddie Vedder and always have hes a wacko.

1/You are right there. The Arab world will continue to fight in one form or another until the U.S. forces get out of their countries.

2/But this contradicts previous arguments ....were the Kurds gassed as a 'last resort'?were women and children killed in the street as a last-chance defence of some military objective?douubt it.If Saddam is as evil as you guys say,and he has these weapons,he'd have used them by now.He hasn't,so which part have you got wrong?is he evil and unarmed,or is he armed but not evil?

3/Information becomes redundant very quickly in war zones.Territory can change hands many times in the course of a conflict.Anyone can claim to be holding an airport, but there's no guarrantee that that information will remain accurate indefinitely. All sides tell lies in war, including yours.Get over it.

4/What WMD's?they don't appear to exist. And I hope that the U.S.doesn't lose track of Saddam like they lost track of Bin Laden. It would be far too convenient if Bush decided that he had to invade yet another country to find them.

5/.....and the corporations that will do the rebuilding will be selected by the U.S. government.Corruption at it largest.Bush will see to it that his country gets the oil revenue one way or another.

6/Show us Saddam, show us the weapons of mass destruction, put some Al Quaeda members on trial and show us the evidence that links them directly to Saddam. You've had ample opportunity to gather evidence to support Bush's accusations, and come up with none so far.You say the hell with France Germany and Russia.Isay the hell with Bush,so far he's proved nothing and killed thousands.

Actors are really wealthy and are always secluded in their mansions, I don't think they are regular cityzens that should make political comments. They live in a different world from ours.

If we were to find these things and do the mentioned above, would you agree that this war is justified. Or does your opinion stick?

I agree I believe that we should be a member on the U.N. Panel that decides how Iraq will be productivly transitioned to the people of Iraq.

Well since we can see the video I'd say we have that Airport at this time when Saddam's supposedly strong troops are supposed to have it according to his speakers!

Well since we're the ones footing the majority of this bill,,,,,,,passed by our congress and even given more money today I'd say we have full say in this and hell with the UN and their chicken nations!.

No Proof positive if Saddam is dead or alive, to your second part

This IMO covers the rest of your questions of Course you will call it propaganda because it fits your thoughts.

Naki when this war is over I'll expect a hand written letter of apology LOL.
Sorry but I don't think we'll ever agree on this war but I do know it was way past due. It took one Man to make the decision and a couple others to say he's right. Its unfortunate that you don't have a leader such as we do. God Bless America and God Bless our Troops and our CIC

I could make some real mischief with this..

"MSNBC.com’s samples of ricin and botulinum, two deadly biological agents, were taken from the soles of a boot and a shoe recovered from the Sargat camp. The facility has been flattened by several Tomahawk cruise missiles, fired as part of the U.S. campaign against Ansar al-Islam. "

Have you any proof that these chemichal weren't present before the missiles landed?
