This thread was pretty funny to read thru.

Hey there. No Problem at all. I despise it when people hate on miatas or say " the other car wasnt trying" when you pull a Z06 like saltwater taffy.
But, with that said, its that VERY attitude that makes it SOOO much fun when you get those people out on the track to race. and their expression turns to this....  The monster miata is fine, its getting ready for a winter installation of a Kenne Bell Blowzilla Supercharger & Flowzilla intake installation. I spoke with Ric Stephens the other day and told him that he may have beaten me in the universal race last year for 300+rwhp on the stock motor BUT Im gonna be the first wheelstand miata!  The turbo 4banger ( car in video above) is cool too, but I havent had it out racing for awhile. Last it ran was an 11.5@120. Anyway, I dont stop in here too often but I did and saw your thread and had to post. Cheers JRT

That's your miata? I love that thing!
Miatas are a great platform, lightweight, good suspension, good looks... the only problem is the lack of power. I see you have fixed that very well

Theoretically, if he had raced a Z06 i think the Vette would of gotten him back. Due to the fact that the Z06 has 55 more horespower to play with (possibly more cause im sure its HP numbers are underated). And its lighter, better suspension and all that other goodies. But, it would of been a cool race to see if it was a Z06 or not. Just my .03.
