Those seatbelts! My 1:1 belts don't even look that good! This is a beautiful build you have going. I can't wait to see the next updates.

Re: Tamiya 1/20 BMW Williams FW24

there's something wrong with my tamiya fw24, as it looks nothing like yours, rob.

seriously, i am blown away. i'm building the fw24 with the scale motorsports super kit -- it was a bit too ambitious for my first-ever project -- and i'm looking at mine right now and thinking "i suck."

Re: Tamiya 1/20 BMW Williams FW24

Update:
I have had quite a few distractions lately. First I had a meeting with a little Ferrari and then during my first week of holidays I moved my workshop here are some quick shots

(Sorry for the poor picture quality if more photo's are requested I'll do a finished thread on this car, once it's totally finished!)

I'm finally back working on the Williams.
I've started on both sidepods.

Also completed are the nose and the steering wheel (I still need to add some wiring here)

and I've also finished all the front suspension

I'll have some more updates VERY soon.
Thanks

Re: Tamiya 1/20 BMW Williams FW24

Hi Robrex,

Nice work on the steering wheel (the fabric looks purrfick). Good luck with the wiring as that'll fast become spaghetti junction :-). I might have guessed your workarea would have been so well laid out... wish I had the space! Keep the updates coming... as you know we modellers are an insatiable bunch. :-)

All the best,
BillyPee
