Hi, I've posted other image in the link below.
So feel free to view and comment.
Thanks a lot.
For Thesaint111: very beautiful carbon fiber effect.
Are all decals or had you use a color?

I used Carbon decals from Scale Motorsport they are simply amazing !!!!

I made many things, now i am ready to paint the chassis, engine cover etc.

heres a small pic, the parts are ready for priming (then white, blue, clear, decals, clear, and between sanding, polishing etc. )

Re: Yes guys......BMW Williams FW-24 *detailed*

First off this has inspired me to do a similar project and your enzo is absolutely gorgeous!

I'm just getting in on this thread and was wondering if you could explain what you all have here in this picture... Obviously you have kit at the top roll of carbon that you are making the display surface out of, paint, blades, etc. I guess what I'm really interested in is what the 5 packages along the bottom starting at the left are and what the blue package from 'BBR' is?

Also on your second order, with the paints, you have 2 packages in the middle bottom of the picture that I'm not familiar with either? One looks like the nut/bolt/etc. set of photoetch parts from scale motorsport?

Once again great job and I'm very glad that I've found this forum and I anxiously await updates on your progress!!

One other quick thing! It would be very interesting to see a list of paints you are using as well. Maybe that is included in the kit but I've not received mine as of yet and would like to take inventory on what I have and what I would need!

Thanks!

Nah dude, it is your model so do what you want, the only thing I can think of is the color is going to be a tad bit lighter than the TS-51 Blue. I had the same problem when I bought mine, I couldn't find the TS-51 anywhere so I ended up getting it from HLJ. If you paint it TS-50 it will still look sweet so get painting and lets see that skill come outcha.

TS-50 is the blue as you see on the Subaru rally cars and is significantly lighter than TS-51, in my opinion it won't look right at all since it won't match up to any blue in the decal sheets.
You can use it if it is really what you want to do, but if you have a choice it is better to use the correct color.

I painted the body white and some parts blue. The result is good !! Pics follow after the body is finished (with the two colours)!!!

The nose came out great (P-man shine )
but not the spoiler....... I have to work at it !!!

And a small pic of the rear suspension

Hi Chilipepper

the 5 packages are different wires, mesh hose and a hose end set from Modeler's, great stuff!! The blue BBR package are carbon decals!!
Yes you're right 1 packages is a nut/bolt/etc. set from sms and the other one is a set of cleaners (sorry i dont know the right word ) to clean the airbrush.

You can find a list of the paints here ! and i used alclad II colors!

TS-51 I a great color for the williams BMW !!
