It was great to see 01r finally,after missing it at it's last appearance at Autosport show.Waited a lot of years to see it in the flesh
It was interesting talking to the Mclaren staff on the stand.The guy i spoke to said he was the one who lined the cars up for the photo shoot,at the recent gathering.Ron Dennis was telling him orders apparently. He said he saw various mclarens daily & that the new owner of the LARK car was a nice guy. On the friday he said there had been a couple of people offering millions for 01r.When i mentioned to him about the Brunei copy car he seemed a bit coy,and did'nt give me an answer! I said to him 'with that sort of money i suppose you could have anything you want copied'. He just smiled! I also mentioned how well informed & passionate we all are at the forum.He did'nt know about it. I said to him he was a lucky man with his job! Great to see the 98 LE-MANS car again.The only time i went there was in 98! |

FOS 2010 was on TV tonight in the UK - Paul Knapfield had a small chat and then we saw his 4th-place-of-the-weekend timed run up the hill - PHWOARRRRRRRR
Here are the listings for those that missed it ITV1 - Tues 13 July, 00:35 ITV4 - Sun 18 July, 16:30 ITV4 - Sun 8 Aug, 18:00 Can you guys not in the UK see ITV1 coverage here?
