Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

Thought it might be a good idea to keep all our own pics and pics we find in one easy-to-find place

So, anyone want to see the Alfa statue for this year?

If more yes's than no's before about 9 tonight then I'll add it here tonight - if more no's than yes's then it'll stay off 'til the start on Friday

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

I'm seriously annoyed I didn't even think to go this year.

I had money to get tickets and I have a car and a decent camera, could've just gone, would've been my chance to see my first F1 (and more).

Ah well, bring on the pics people!

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

Hello,

I have an important question since I have not any ticket or accreditation.

Tickets have names on it ? Is it possible to buy tickets to someone and if yes, at same price or higher ?

For the moment nobody come with me but I want to see these F1s just 30minutes at least.

Or, can we go out and loan ticket to a friend and then retake it ?

Many thanks to answer me because this site announces 25 F1s !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phil, try the Goodwood ticket office first thing in the morning, tell them you are coming from France and pay for them by card, ask if the tickets can be collected at the gate.

At least McLaren have brought out 01R The old girl still looks great!

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I don't believe the claim that there will be 25 McLaren F1s at Goodwood.

Several other sources report just the Le Mans winner in attendance from McLaren along with the MP4-12C display.

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

From the sounds of things the McLaren display at Goodwood has two MP4-12C Validation Prototypes, one 12C bare chassis and then the Le Mans winner.

There may be other F1s in attendance as well outside of that. I haven't seen a formal entry list like in past years so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Sorry Al - looks like you're going to have to book that trip to Japan if McLaren don't come through with a more complete display at Goodwood.

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2010

Hello,

I hope guys who go to Goodwood today will be know more and share here.
I will try to come only if it will be a gathering but imagine McLaren wants to do a surprise ?

It's time to contact F1 owners. I only know #046 will not be at FOS nor LMC and #16R owner was not invited but he has envy to come.

Philippe
