What happens when you die?

When you die, you stand before God and it is up to you repent your sins. If you you believe that Jesus is our savior and he took our sins upon himself so we could live, then you go to heaven. If you don't believe in this than, you have no business being in heaven. It's not about being good or bad. Everybody in the world has sinned at least once. With this said, everybody would go to hell then. Wrong, that is why Jesus died. You can't earn your way into heaven. It's all about the faith.

yeah... but IMO you don't have to believe in the christian god, if you have faith in any religion you'll probably get in.... like if heaven is actually run by the christian god that we believe in, it's not like all muslims won't get in, they'll get in too cause they have faith in what they believe in. I think we all basically believe in the same God just different religions see him in different forms, etc.

Question for you. If you had started your own club right, and you had only the people that were closest to and only people who beleived in you. Nobody else would be let in. Then there are the people who are in other clubs doin their own thing. But your club is special b/c you are the only one with a contract that says you are the one and only REAL club. Now when people start getting kicked out of their houses they have go to a club to stay at. Now some people join the other clubs b/c they believe that their club is the REAL club, but in actuallity it ain't. So all of the other clubs go under and they come to you. Would you let them in? Thing is about religion, their are a lot of clubs. But there is only one REAL club. I don't know if the non-believers are welcome. It's kind of a lame analogy but I'm short on time.

You have a good point. But what about the people like Osama Bin Ladin and his followers. A lot of them were raised like that, they believe they are doing their deed for God.

So did the Branch Davidians in Waco, TX. Osama bin Laden and his followers are a fanatical offshoot of Islam. They do not represent Islam as a whole.

The Ku Klux Klan claim to be a Christian religious organisation. Yet they clearly dont represent the views of the Christian world as a whole (or at least I hope they dont). Neither do Osama Bin Laden's views represent those of the Muslim world, even though what he did had little to do with his religious beliefs but rather with his hatred of America and consumerist culture which he vowed to destroy. The only thing is that he considered the "infidels" lives not as important and therefore thought its ok for them to die. But this doesnt agree with the general view of the Muslims, just like Christians dont think that it's ok to kill black/jewish or anyone else who doesnt have the same belief or skin color.

As far as the "afterlife" goes I dont believe that there'll be heaven or hell or any of that, at least not in a way people are trying to interpret it.
