Chris, are the wheels made up of 2 piece? cause in the first pic, the wheels are only half as wide as the last pic with the tire mounted.

No, no! Why do u need to do that? I only showed them like that coz u can see better. If u have a motor tool theres no need to chop the rims up!...If u don't, then..err...i don't know what to suggest?

Onto lowering; The rear is quite simple, the upper A arms are flexible enough to be pushed upwards so all i did was to cut off small sections of styrene tube and glue to the four locations into which the hub fits. Note that they have been moved inwards from the original position in order to keep the wheel at 90 degrees (pic1). Due to this the rear axle has had a little removed from either end and as seen in the 3rd pic does not line up with the centre of the hubs. I couldn't be bothered to alter this and left it as it is (pic2).

The front requires a little more surgery. The upper A arms were removed, which was easily done with a sharp blade.

These were then positioned further up with a little trimming required - 1st pic (the pics show the modified on the left and original on right). When test fitting this it still didnt lower the wheels enough for me, it couldn't be moved up any further either because the chassis prevented it from doing so. My solution was to file down the end of the arm to about half its original length - 2nd Pic.

The steering rack now needed attention and all that was required was to file down the area into which it runs though. Its still fully operational!

Once again two section of tube were required to support the hubs.

The lowered front and rear

Chris that S2000 is looking well gorgeous I want to see the finished thing tho!
Have you had any more thoughts about supplying wheels from SAS?
As i dont have any way of buying from HLJ etc, and I can't find anywhere in UK that do the Fujimi/Aoshima ones!!
