Marga Hills S2000 build report

The transkit is now molded so i can finally get this built

Below are all the parts (minus wing at moment) as they came from the molds. My aim with these products is to make them as user friendly as possible which means as little work as poss for you guy's.

The rear is made up of two parts

Parts will fit fine if you cut along the relevant panel lines and some areas may need to be filled with plastic card. The rear is the trickiest to cut away but if care is taken its not too much of a problem.

All the lugs and nodules for fitting parts such as headlights and chassis are left intact so no major surgery is required. The front of the chassis however needs the original lip removed and two new connectors added from plastic card to slot into the new bumper.

The chassis now fits no differently to the original

So if the Mugen Hood and roof are separate, are you also planning on making other Mugen S2000 body parts? The Mugen front bumper seems very close to your Marga Hills bumper...

Oh yes! I'm itching to do it, I have another S2K kit ready and waiting to be modded and will make a start on it along with a few others after these current projects are done. Its likely to be complete early next year!

Cool. And in the meantime, will you make the roof or hood available separately, or will you hold them until a full set is complete?

No, u will be able to purchase those seperate now. The hardtop is great coz it just slots onto any completed model, just paint and go!

Looking fine!

I'm also very interested in the mugen parts, but I think I'll wait until you have a complete set. (Please include the rear spoiler  )

One question about the mugen hard top, will it include a clear plastic piece for the rear glass?

That'll be down to u guy's to use some clear sheet or acetate, there's a groove cut into the back for it to fit.

Looking good, another $30 I will have to save up for .
I dont think I will be getting one right away because for both of the kits (model and transkit) it will cost around $70.

And there is a lot of other things that are on higher priority on my "to buy list" (Trust me, its long )

But any way, nice looking kit, are you going to build a model of the car, so we can see it finished?
