Underbody looks clean! Is it better to do in body color?

I wonder myself at times why to. I thought most cars are done in a flat black....mybe this can be a show car only
Most kits seem to ask for the chassis to be body colour

I usually paint it black for road cars. I've been under a few 1:1 cars and it is black down there. But body color underbody help the exhaust and engine detail to stand out. I guess it is up to personal preference.

Pman, you should shave off the front license plate mount frame. I did this to mine and it smooths out the front well. Also, you should open up the front bumper intake holes on the left and right. I put small scale wire mesh here and placed intercooler parts behind them. Its really easy to do (even with the bumper painted) and makes the whole car look more aggressive and realistic. Nice work!:bandit:

Last update !!!

Almost have it finished...hopefully tomorrow. Just got lots of small detail left to do like the rear wing/wipers/mirrors etc etc.
I'm going to leave the side skirts off as IMO they dont suit the car or fit to well either ...so they have joined the "Spares Box"
I think the car has cleaner lines without them

I prefer it with those skirts on, but u know me and bodykits!!! Your right about the fitment though, looks a bit off and its too late to mess about with filing and puttying now you have it all painted.
