Doing donuts in a FWD car is easy. You just have to do it in reverse! You can make the world FLY sidewise by the windshield!

Drifting is not just getting the tail out once. You need to string together multiple turns. All most of you are talking about is over steer. Drifting requires control of the slide for a period of time. Go buy an Option or Drift Tengoku video and get educated. It takes practice but when you get it, its so great.

#1 is a true inertia drift, that's pretty much the way it's done. Of course, you didn't mention coming into the corner hard on the brakes to load up the front

I'm not sure if you mean just using throttle steering on your second method or powersliding out of the corner...

I just open it up midway through the apex, 350 V-8 and RWD work great to do that too.

btw, ask SilverLotus340R about tipping minivans while trying to drift them.

most of us are well aware that there are multiple actions involved in drifting and stringing multiple corners together.
however, you can still drift around 1 corner. you don't HAVE to string corners together to drift.

Option video 91, i believe, shows this rather well...
there's a drift contest in germany, and the drifting is based on 1 corner.
it's won by the JUN Super Lemon EVO V.

oversteer is when the rear comes around in a corner.

power oversteer is when you gas it around a corner when the rear is coming out.
know the terms before you accuse others of not knowing them.

OWNED. :hehehe:

And by the way, I didn't "try" to drift the Aerostar, I "did" drift it.

and tipped it, or should I say, flopped it right on it's side in the process?

ehh yea, well I do that more often, but I have drifted it, just gotta be going fast enough around the corner and let off the gas quick in second so it transfers weight to the front and swings the rear end out i think Cbass gave a good explanation as to what drifting is in the other thread about drifting FWD, today I tried it in my sister's caddy but it didnt' work i had to drive her car since mine is out of brake fluid so i have no brakes almost, the rears will lock up, which is quite fun

DONE THAT

i think i've drifted every car that i ever got to drive. regardless of model, FWD, RWD, 4WD, even drifted an SUV, and a Toyota Emina Van.

but, the most fun pack car that i got to drift is the DETOMASO CHARADE GTTi 88. Since i dont have access to AE86's or silvias or skylines here.

As was explained to me in my questioning thread, then by all means yes.

By the way, what is "Initial D"?

In the winter, when the chance presents itself (or I go out looking for chances), I love to rip up on the handbrake and go around the corners sideways.
In the dry, its a lot harder to control, especialy with fwd. Still, Ive managed it a little bit, but only in parking lots so I cant crash. Also, does losing control and having the ass end wag out count?:alien:

I've drifted pretty much everything I've owned. I would have to say the Mustang has been the easiest to control, but the RX7 was fun.

ive drifted but cant anymore until i put my old tires back on. i dont want to ruin my nice new tires.

all i can do in these tires are some cool turns and about 1 foot drifts. i dont do any more than that because i dont want to die
