ok ok...1st off, there is no way an integra gsr got up to 155 w/ out some help. 2nd, gsr vs gsx or gst isn't going to be a killing like u guys think. my frien w/ a 97 eagle talon tsi awd, raced another guys' gsr w/ only i/e, an the talon killed it off the line (awd for u), but by the end of 3rd, the gsr pulled past it by about 1/4 of a car. the cars are heavy, an in a full quarter mile, the gsr is going to get it (even drivers that is). yea...i mite sound biased, but it is the truth, the cars will really come down to driver, an if they are even, the gsr has a chance to beat it.

your friends car hit 174 on the desert flats?
really? do you know what you've got to have done to your car to be allowed to run those speeds? and if you've got those things done, then you've got a heavily modded motor as well... i'm sure you could build a car to run that speed. that's not the question. we're talking a stock car. and besides, this is a dead topic. leave it alone and let it get closed. it was started by a 14 yr old who has been lying to everyone on the site since he got here.

um, yeah..
i dl'd the video, and guess what, no notation in the video of speed, rpm's, anything... so that proved nothing. took forever and i'm on dsl too.. and it's a 1st gen, not a second gen like the thread is about. i can't say that i believe what you said based on what a video is listed as unless the video says it. sorry.

well...
your point was that that car in the video hit 177... which isn't documented in anything other than the name of the video... so you didn't prove anything... that's all i'm saying... i would need a radar gun reading, or something off a rev/speed meter to believe any video posted on the web anymore... i could go drive my car really fast and then post the video of me doing that and call it 180... who can say i wasn't if i don't prove it, or give you any clue? i probably wasn't, but you know what? you can't prove it unless you're there, or the video says it... right?

that's kinda what i was looking for...
but the fact remains that it's not a stock car, and it's not a 2nd gen. that's all i'm saying. it's not stock doing 180mph. anything else?
