dbartoschek, I understand what you're saying. I had the same fun experience running a NA 2.0L KIA Sportage up against a 2.0L Talon TSi. I thought it would be worth a hoot just to see how lame a Sportage's drivetrain is, but this Talon guy took me seriously. I pulled up to the light and gave him a dirty look. Then I laughed at the redundant tach syndrome he was experiencing and revved my engine just to fuck with him. So he finds it necessary to put the hammer down as hard as he can on green and let go his first shot of nitrous before he even gets to the other side of the intersection. Give it 3 seconds and I see another poof from his fart can. Talk about nervous... The hell for? He ran that Talon as hard as he could for the next 1/2 mile, meanwhile I'm just sittin back there laughing at how much of a difference no turbo and an automatic tranny makes. (Not to mention his car was empty and mine had 2 chicks in it; talk about weight difference...a Sportage? please!) Wow! That's impressive. To beat a Sportage you have to have at least a 19 second car. I'll betcha he could beat my grandma; what with the display he put on. I have the same itch you do dbartoschek: go back with my sports sedan after it's upgraded to run some much faster times and blow out those DSM cars and ricers. ******* Check out my KIA 4WD at 80mph! :frog:

J/P Man  Sounds good, you should come out to California. Its very similar to Florida ... except we dont get random as hell rain showers... and Hurricanes we dont get those. All we have is drouts which are good for racing... you can get in a good season of racing with out worrying about being rained out at the track. And then we get Floods... which can kill racing... but lets you go play in the mud =P Oh yeah... we have earthquakes.

I live on the west coast of Canada, and it's not that cold up here. Sure, it's not southern California, but we haven't got any snow this year, and the coldest it has gotten this year was 1 below, celcius. That's about 30 degrees F.
Of course, it rains... oh how it rains, but hey, saves the tires during drift runs

We should all meet one day and have are own automotive forums Gumball Rally! That would kick some serious arse! Thats not a bad temp. for up there. It's been kinda overcast today, but you can still see the sun. It was 32 F this morning at about 7:15. Thats pretty damn cold for here.
