Ahh not true My first car was an 86 SVO mustang. It had a turbocharged 4cyl. It was quite fast, However 2months before I turned 16 my mother rode with me in the car and decided that it was a poor choice for a first car, ( me and my dad told her it was a 4cyl it would not be fast at all, he wouldn't get into trouble with a 4cyl mustang), so she and my dad argued and they sold my car. Looking back on it I could kill them b/c she did not under stand how rare the car would become.

P.S why does everybody have to argue over domestic vs import? I really cannot see the point in it. It accomplishes absolutely nothing, why not have respect for the other car and try to learn from one another? Atrue car enthusist lkes all fast cars and does not bash domestics or imports, that is just being GAY!!!

Whtteg, thank you for not giving into the stereotyping. Good to know there's others out there that are "car" enthusiasts, not just brand enthusiasts...

Damn, reading this thread has been a complete waste of five minutes of my life. I think I might actually have lost a couple points off my I.Q.
I think I'll go commit suicide now.

Since my last post I came to my senses and realized that suicide was not the answer. So I grew a mullet and started inflicting ritualistic body mutilation on myself. I owe it all to this thre....I mean chicken shack. Thanks, I don't know what I would do without you guys.

It's nice to see someone cares. On a different note, does anyone need parts from my civic? Because I would like to sell them...(cheap)

Talking about the ORIGINAL reason for this thread

hey everybody.. this thread's gotten.. a little off track.. NEwayze. I have to say that a well-tuned gen3 accord is decently fast. I mean, of course you can't expect it to beat an eclipse, but I HAVE beaten my brother's 92 Integra GS with my GSX which is not too bad. Not sure to this day weither it's just me or my car that drives well.. take into account that the motor has only put on about 1500 miles since being rebuilt, whereas my brother's integra has many more miles than that... Sucks tho.. that no matter my car being faster, his always gets more looks.. well. until they hear me screaming by.. (and that's just the intake sound, no exhaust present).. NEwayze. I would like to hear more stories of Gen3 victories.. because.. I guess it's a pretty rare occurence.
