Is it a bad thing to be over 30? Are we not cool anymore when we clock over 3 decades on this dusty ball we call Earth? If I had only known what I know now when I was your age... ahhh the wisdom of age and the energy of youth. BTW the indignation is only a pisstake - but I am over 30! But most of you would have guessed that from the things I've done and the conservative values...

Some places it's compulsory or you have to be in the presence of a member. Some places you get cheap drinks and most don't have any membership policy at all. Just so happens that my 2 locals have cheaper drinks for members. It equates to about $US5 and you save that mcuh in drinks in one night.

We've both had over a decade and a half of learning to hold our liquor and being able to walk into most bars. And knowing enough to know when to leave the bar.
And knowing that youth, alcohol and a careless mouth can write out cheques that the body can ill-afford. Kids - there will be someone meaner, nastier, stronger than you or he/she will enough badasses with them to result in you getting pulped no matter how good you may think you are. And it's difficult to defend yourself from a 40 oz bottle of bourbon to the back of the head.
