First, I thought we were talking about the newer trucks. Ford has more recently made their trucks worse. Bty, some police forces are using Impallas, bonneville's and other 4 door cars. The Vic is so widly used because of its relyaliability, or it would be phazed out. And the platform still performes better than needed, incase you havent noticed cops done complain much bout their cars, least none of the ones I know do.

Yes the police are using Impalas and Bonnevilles- but think back to 1994-ish- when there were like a billion times more Caprices than there are Impala's- and what is the main difference between the two cars- THE CAPRICE WAS REAR-WHEEL DRIVE- the Impala is FRONT-WHEEL DRIVE- think about it........
