Re: Some Drifters *progress preview*

Sideskirts ready for primer...
The rear bumper will have full skirt like the front one.
I started to modify the suspension, a huge lowering has to be done.
The first I changed is the camber at the front by replacing the above mount for the shock.
I moved it 2mm to the inside and 2mm to back. Pics will come soon, I need to check if it worked first

Re: Some Drifters *progress preview*

These all look good Risko, has a fan of the S chassis myself I always enjoy looking at builds based off of them. You know the fujimi s13's really aren't that bad of a kit when you get right down to it. I've got a few to build myself, 3 silvias, 2 180sx's(one tamiya kit), a sileighty, and an s15 silvia. Keep up the good work on these, i'll be checking in on your progress.

Thanks
Gray

The body kit looks great! Keep up the good work. Are you planning on improving the headlight clusters?

Re: Some Drifters *progress preview*

I have to agree, the body kit is turning out fantastic! what color are you thinking for this ZENKI? black would be beautiful, but I don't recomend it as it really makes all the detail disappear. I saw a really nice white with a purple pearl in the Kustom Kolors (purple passion I think it's called) that would look great on that body kit. I think it calls for a dark base coat, but if it's sprayed over white, I bet it would be perfect.

anyway, I'm riveted to this thread, keep it up!!!

Re: Some Drifters *progress preview*

Thanks for your comments!
I agree, black would be cool, but I definatly need to hyde some mistakes on that bodykit. I´m thinking about AlcladII Sapphire (blue to purple) for this one.
For AlcladII I would use the black primer and have a preview in black.

But what I definatly will paint black, is the S13 with S14 f/e convertible
Btw, I dropped the front suspension, 5mm, it´s really deep now! Pics later today.

Re: Some Drifters *progress preview*

Thatīs my plan for the front susp.
At first I cutted the brakes away to add bigger Brembos to the front. To the rear will come some from R32.

Then I shortened the shock and changed the angle bc the new tire size.

Nice camber?

Deep, isnīt it?

I moved the above mount-hole for the shock. From pink to green point.

Re: Some Drifters *progress preview*

Sunday update

New eyes, added a part from R32.

I also have modified the hood by using the method which didnīt work on my Vertex S15 bc of the paint.

The rear suspension is lowered now, too. Very easy to do. Instead of the metal axle this kit uses a styrene part which can be shortened. I used the same method like on the front susp. and added sticks instead of the rod like on the front one.

Itīs not very easy to get the perfect stance, the undercarriage is benden and the front end now, too, bc of my mod on the hood.

Seats from R32 modified to something like Bride (backseat friendly this time)

As next the rear bumper

Simply badass, i dont know how else to put it
Awesome work on this one so far, that hood came out great! These will def turn out sick, now the only thing you will have to do in the end is make a diorama n have em all drifting in tandem
