You think that's odd? Over here you can not drive when the light is red. Full stop. I still can't quite figure out how it works over there where most of you live. Really, I've seen numerous times people mention turning left or right when the light is red. Sounds ridiuculous to me. Here (and probably the whole of Europe) you cannot turn on red unless there's a green arrow on in the traffiv light. When the arrow lights up with the main light red, you can make the turn but have to give way to everyone. If it's on with the main light green, you can make the turn and have the priority. Phew. Your regulations sound weird.

LOL, I know people that just straight turn left on red when there's noone else around. Frankly, it scares the shit out of me. It's all old people too so there wont be cars for a few hundred feet and they'll start turning and it takes them a good 45 seconds to get all the way through the turn cuz their slow as hell and by that time the cars almost on top of them
