I personally do not have a propane kit. Wanna get one bad though. But people I know run anywhere from a number 36 jet to a 55 jet with 125 PSI of pressure.

Sequential turbo setups are for Supras, not GTRs

Its not really a question of lag with the GTR, its more of a question of a good usable power band. I don't floor the car all the time, so I would like a little better partial trottle response.

Why do most of the Supra guys, go for a single?

that is tru bout supras being converted to single turbo. most supras ive seen on the street and in magazines have been converted into single turbo. ive also seen a few RX-7's turned into single turbo as well. since ive never seen a skyline before on the road ive seen most skylines converted to single turbo aswell. but in alot of british and japanese magazines they keep the TT.

Most GTRs will stay TT, because there are a lot of direct bolt on turbos that are made for the GTR. 2510, 2530, 2540, GT-SS, and the GT-RS. All are a little different, but they will be a lot cheaper than going with a single, since you do not have to change any of the piping.

Ok I run an Alcohol injection kit on my car. What that does is when the boost hits the preset ammount. (for me 13PSI) The alcohol pump kicks on and it forces the alky through nozzles at like 80 PSI and creates a mist of alky in the air charge. (Nozzles are placed after the intercooler.) When the hot air hits the cloud of alky the alky hits the hot air and evaporates. Sucking ALOT of heat out of the compressed air charge.(The same principal as A/C) Also alcohol is a naural anti deationat, and rich in octane. Without alky injection I can run 17 PSI on my car with 1.2 degrees of timing being taken out of my setup by the computer. With alky I can run 24 PSI without any timing being removed by the computer. This is on pump gas 93 octane.

Now the downfall with an alky kit it that the alcohol that they run in alky engines is cheap but extremely hard on metals. Denatured alcohol is not nearly as corssive but it can cost anywhere from 7 to 10 dollars a gallon, and you spray alot of alcohol. Propane does the same thing that alcohol does but at half the use and cost. The only reason that I don't have a propane kit it because the accuall kit is very costly compared to a SMC alcohol kit.

Re: Stang pics

That is cool, but it shows how much I know about turbos. I see one on my car someday soon, the power gains are unreal and so is the coolness factor. My only problem is that I know very little about them so far. I've got alot of research to do before I open the checkbook. There are a few blower cars around town but I've never even seen a turbo Mustang on the street, only pro cars on the track. A 8 sec turbo car sounds more like a jet car coming down the track. What does a street car sound like?

I am at stopping point right now, lack of funds. Need to sell a few cars, before I can start again.

I need a TKO, and I am think of going with a Ford 9" in the back. I might tackle the 9" when I take the car back to the states.

Way too big, too much lag. You have to do too much work to get those turbos to work, plus it would not be very streetable.

Bigger cam, port work, valves, fuel, tranny, etc. With 2510s, GT-SS, and 2530s they are almost plug and play.

The GT-RS, and 25-40s require a lot of work, but not as much as set of 3037s.

Just think of the cool factor when I get done with my R32 GTR, with a big ass V8, T-76, with N2O coming out of a single exhaust pipe. Its going to be way cool

Street car sound way cool, just a huge sucking sound from under the hood at WOT. If you run a Mark VII fan, you will hardly hear the turbo at idle.
