+1

The thing is that the people that are typically members of online automotive forums are usually performance-minded, which means they are going to abuse their car more than the everyday owner who just drives it normally. Obviously if you hit the track everyweekend and drive it like you stole it everyday on the street, it is going to give you problems.

Re: Fun with a DSM

Thanks 98stang, for articulating that a bit better than I could. Honestly, the only major mechanical problems I've had with my Talon were a bad slave cylinder, and the fucking crank took a hike on me.

Yeah, DSM's get a bad rap. I have had no problems with mine, and I am gonna miss it when I get rid of it.

Re: Fun with a DSM

Depends on the generation. The 2G N/T's had the 420A neon engine in them.

well no i dont but i have noticed one thing. With the 3KGT I had more attention from the girls .
Usually drive by the mall or a shopping plaza and girls would give second glance and stuff or I'd pull up to a light and catch them checking out the car. The 3000GT just has that supercar look, low profile, wide stance, functional side vents ect..

with the GTO I get attention from guys. Now dont laugh you bastards!
Its just they are more automotive oriented so they know whats uder the skins BUT, its not the same kind of attention.
