i doubt it'll be lighter than bentleys, the thing is huge, it's big if not bigger than the bentleys, plus it has all those crazy features.

i think i'm thinkin of something else, but it might have marble floors.... i doubt it though

Yes they made a V24 engine. It was a prototype of course. They didn't use it because it was too loud for a lux cruiser. I even have a pic of the Mercedes V24 on my computer.

Please resize it with a graphic editor and post it, or send it to my email address, if you can. ( [email protected] ) It would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I never received the photo of the V24 engine from Mr. V12, but I found a conceptual sketch of one after some heavy browsing. Interestingly, the various eurpoean sites had differing numbers for the V24, including 12 liters or 15 liters, possible supercharger, and 1000 hp. The idea basically called for 2 Mercedes V12 engines mated at the crank, but a forced induction V12 proved to be enough power for a primarily chauffeured limousine.

Hey Jay, if you're still checking back to this thread, I found a larger shot of the production Maybach posted earlier, which clearly shows the emblem, which seems to be brought back to life from early Maybach vehicles.

Now I don't know if the next two are real prototypes or photoshopped pieces, but they sure stir the mind to think if such a beast could exist. A coupe/cabrio limousine... talk about cruising Sunset:

It'll compete with the Bentley Azure and the Rolls Royce convertible
they're the same category
