Sorry bout that, but he thinks his car is amazingly fast and would like to show him differently, especially since I only run6 tenths slower in the 1/4 than he does in the 1/8. Isn't that ironic? BTW my best time is a 9.88 in the 1/4

i know that the 72 nova with 385 hp would smoke a 14 second civic hatch.

my best friend's 73 nova runs mid 11 with 400hp and 75hp of nitrous.
mid 12's with 400hp.
so 385 should get you into the 13's easy.

I have a 2001 blown cobra. Many, many mods, dont feel like listing. Will if proof is needed. I believe the run was a 9.88@high 140s or low 150s...on slicks though. Its my baby.

I agree with 209 neon, comparing a supposed 9-second cobra and a 14 second civic hatch is comparing apples to oranges. It's not just about running fast, it's about running fast with what you have and what resources are available to you. In that case, a guy in high school with a civic hatchback than runs 14.3 is pretty damned respectable.
