I dont think a nice system or carbon fiber trim or paint job would qualify as rice. My stock 2003 Accord V6 6 speed coupe came with carbon fiber trim, and im in the process of getting my 2 jl audio 12w7s with jl audio 1000.1s, jl audio xr components, and jl audio 300.4, with pioneer avh-p6500dvd. Regarding bodykits - I don't think having a body kit necessarily screams rice at all. Some kits suit certain cars very well. I DO think that if your car looks like a rocket ship after the body kit, wing, vents, etc... are installed then thats stupid. I also think rice=stupid.

One thing that looks awfully stupid is cars with multi-coloured body panels. Please explain this to me - how can you not afford to paint your new front skirt after 3 years?? I cant' stand seeing otherwise nice looking cars ruined with ugly grey or yellow body mods.

Parking your car at the local Tim Horton's and turning on your blue head/fog strobelights has to be the most pathetic attempt at attention, especially when your car is a rusted, dented up piece of shit beater with multi-coloured body panels and outrageous rims. Guy.

But in my opinion the one thing that screams rice above all else is literally those extremely loud and buzzy exhaust tones. I'm not saying all aftermarket exhausts sound bad on import type cars - but the REALLY loud ones that sound like weed-wackers are horrible. Again, its even more offensive to me when these attention getting exhausts are found on rusted piece of shit cars. People like that must get some kick when they're looked upon with disgust - or looked upon period. Maybe thats it.

Yes. I think the definition of "RICE" is quite simply trying to draw attention to yourself when really you should have more sense than that.
