Re: I beat a Neon...

Well I'll be damned. It looks like 9 is the magic number for 1/4 times while remaining street legal - which is better then 8s or below - I'm surprised that California would let such fast cars be street legal when they're that light.

Dunno?

I've always wondered that. Seems Nissan people are more undercover about posting their times and stuff.

It's all about sleepers .

i should be flaming relentlessly here, but im going to try and be civil about it...

ispankyourmom, youve been called out on SEVERAL occasions and youve even started threads, supposedly, apologizing for words that youve eaten. just stop...lying, blowing smoke, fighting the bad fight...just learn to be gentlemanly with your arguements and have some sites/evidence to bolster your case.

...getting back to the thread, im also extremely scared of the srt-4's, regardless of their reliability (which i know nothing about), or their ubiquitous appearance. im much more willing to sacrifice myself (in my lude) to a GT stang or SS camaro, rather than lose to a 'neon'...for those of you who hate on the srt-4, reconsider...or better yet, go race one...

Re: I beat a Neon...

I was being gentlemanly - I didn't flame at all - I just didn't believe it until I saw it. You need to quit being so damn beligerent.

Where did I lie at? I was just unaware (and doubtful) that a Civic was capable of being that fast while still being 50 state street legal - take me to Judge Judy and sue me.

BTW - I won't be racing anything in my almost stock EX (I didn't put any money into it, I bought it with a fartcan on the tailpipe and an intake) unless I'm pretty damn confident I can win, or at least lose closely.

However, once I've got my car built up to where it's every thing that I want it to be, I won't race any Corvettes unless the driver of one disrespects my car (out of sheer respect for my reasonable dream car) when it's been tuned to my standards.

As for the SRT - as soon as I'm confident that I can beat one, I'll call as many of them out as I possibly can.

Re: I beat a Neon...

BTW, I've only started one thread where I've apologized, and no one's given me any $#!+ except for you. Quit trying to read so much into what someone's posted in an attempt to interpret it the wrong way.
