can some1 help me i changed my springs last night 2 inchs lower springs but it did not make a difference does it take a while when there still new or......................???????????????????????

OK, time for me to chime in. I know something of this from my race car wrenching days (cars that turn). If you don't know what you're doing, DO NOT cut your springs. If you don't understand what spring rate you want or are going to get, DO NOT DO IT. You can calculate the resulting spring rate easily BUT do you know what you want or need? Leave it to spring manufacturers if you don't know what you're doing.
If you just want the "slammed" look and don't care if the car handles like shit or is lethal on the road go for it and trailer it to where you want to show off. While your at it make sure you have wildly offset wheels so you break your wrist if you hit anything with your wheel. End of rant. |
