I like the way the NA drives compared to the TT. In my opinion you get better "feel" of the motor, transmission, and car as a whole. In the twisties I can keep up the TTs easily.
Keep in mind that weight is a big factor in speed. Building a 2+2 NA for speed seems like even more of a mistake then not getting a TT. If you go NA get the slicktop coupe. It's the lightest of the Zs. For 400 Hp you'll need N20 & the 370cc TT injectors. I/H/E/Ecu/crankpulley/upgraded clutch/lightened flywheel/bored throttle bodies--matched intake and you could keep going with: lightened 1 piece driveshaft upgraded valve springs forged pistons race cams lightweight wheels/brakes Air/Fuel computer There isn't much to upgrade with Nissan ignitions. Here's one place Nissan didn't leave room for improvement. Direct ignition coil per cylinder is the shiznit. NGK makes the factory platnum plug. Happy motoring Deuce |
