Re: Fujimi/Tamiya NSX-R

I notice that you use a clear display case for paint drying. I do that also, but for mine, there are holes in the bottom for ties(to hold the car steady)
so i just ran two parrallel brass rods the are bent outward to hold the body. Kinda vague, I know, just an idea for you to try.

Re: Fujimi/Tamiya NSX-R

Here are a few more.

Interior update. Tamiya interior with Seats, Steering wheel & Shifter parts from the Fujimi kit.

Chassis update. Tamiya chassis with front end and silver & black plate from Fujimi kit. Also brake rotor/calliper from Fujimi.

Body almost done. Black Spoiler from Fujimi kit.

I'm also Cutting the wheels again to make them larger. I think they are too small right now for me. If all goes well, this could turn out the way I want.

Re: Fujimi/Tamiya NSX-R

The wheel progress. The originals were too small. Then after putting them in Skyline wheel sleeves, they still seem too small.

Here is the cutting of wheels.

These are 19" wheel sleeves.

This is the finished product. They should look better on the car.

Re: Fujimi/Tamiya NSX-R

i've always had it in mind to do this when/if I ever get the other many projects of mine completed so it's good to see someone else do it instead.
it's a shame though, that you didn't blend the Fujimi onto the Tamiya body better before painting.
