Re: Escort muffler
I just installed a new OEM muffler that I bought at AutoZone. It didn't have arrows either but mufflers used to always have the arrows. My wild guess is they can be reversed depending on the application.

Re: Escort muffler
Hello
I just got a reply back from dynomax, my muffler is indeed reversible, but that still doesn’t explain why I’m getting no performance sound. I'll keep you guys informed on there next reply...

Re: Escort muffler
I just redid the muffler on my '93. At rock auto all the hangers needed are dirt cheap. Everything lined up perfectly for replacement. BUT I didn't do anything cool - it sounds like you're installing some kind of improved or performance muffler, so that's why things don't line up?

They did a good job lining it up at midas..Dynomax indeed says its reversable and sound should come out either way..so i dunno..i'm probably just going to leave it for now..since i see a little horsepower increase..forget about the sound..cant stress over it..
