Word to your mother

If you need a car to get girls/build a car to get girls, something aint right

And dont start on "which of you has a car?"

Cuz you dont either.

God help the people of North Carolina if 15 year olds can drive. And Yes, I am one.

S13_Iketani, don't you guys get some "jdm" stuff in Canada? You guys have 240's or silvias? I assume it's 240's but I'm not sure.
Did you see SportCompactCar 's flat black silvia? They got a silvia for $2,000 (U.S) engine, and body. I don't remember if they got interior and suspension stuff.

yeah we get 240SX's up here. tons of them. the flat black silvia isn't bad. they're article saying you could build a Silvia for under $5000 is fairly blasphemous though...

there's about 30 of them on www.autotrader.ca . might be tough for you to get it down to you though. if you go on there and see the gold 1990 hatchback for $2900, that's 90% most likely the one i'm going to buy.

At the time of that cars construction, you could probably do that for about $3,000. But SportComactcar siadthe price of the silvia has spiked up recently, sdo it'll probably cost $5,000 now, we're both right

All I have to say is that if one of you gets my DET before I do, I'm going to beat you savagely with a wet noodle... or my car bumper, whichever comes first. :o

I'm just glad that no one is all about the Infiniti G20 on the East Coast. I'm actually going to enter my *mostly stock* G20 in a show this May with just new NGK's, wires, distributor cap and rotor, a spoiler, and probably not much more. :o Oh, I might have a bass box by then. But yeah, until the G35s are all out, I'll still be one of the few Infin owners.

a little late commenting anything anyways...
but yeah... i strongly dislike any Import showoff or stuff...some ppl like supratuner have said before that cars from JGTC are ugly and shit with huge WINGS!~.. well basically they are not.. each and every car is designed for aerodynamic... the car actually can drive thru turns , unlike NASCARS!!.. now those are a piece.. what i am trying to get at is this. There are many North American company (most of them) are selling bodykits that are either ugly as shit or heavy! .. in Japan, companies like EAST BEAR, C-west.. they actually design their kits for speed. like the unique designs are not only light-weight, but they actually can cool off certain parts of the car like brakes. I remeber early.. (not mentioning any names but S13 probably know who i am talking about) well the certain indivudal said that ADVAN RG wheels are RICE!.. ok so ure telling me that one of the lightest wheels out there and is used for drifting is RICE!, but yet... Altezza tail-lights are not!.. You can say u don't like the wheels because they are ugly... but how can u say its rice.. this really bothers me, how some young and naiive boy doesn't even know how to use the term rice correctly...

back on topic..
there are alot of places in Canada where u can get ure car all tuned up for drifting, espcailly here in vancouver! There is this new tune shop called Barvira (sp?) which they have direct contact with STi itself... and earlier this week i saw them with a Mitsu Evolution 8!... all their parts are shipped from Japan.. (genuine JDM parts)...
so yea.. S13.. where abouts do u live in Canada?

i'm just north of toronto. there's a few places around here that are good. BC Auto Design in Markham, Ontario is the sole Cusco and 5Zigen supplier for Canada. then there's a shop in downtown Toronto that specializes in JDM Toyota and Nissan engine swaps.

oh, by the way, the first part of your post was spot on, but let's keep it on topic and not get back into the flame war.
